Responsibilities
- Conduct cold calls to potential clients to introduce company logistics services (import/export, freight forwarding, customs clearance, etc.)
- Identify customer needs and qualify prospects over the phone
- Arrange and schedule appointments for the sales team or yourself (if handling both sales and follow-up)
- Maintain call logs, update report with call outcomes and client information
- Follow up with leads via email, phone, or WhatsApp to nurture interest
- Handle objections professionally and build rapport with prospects
- Collaborate with sales and operations team to ensure smooth handover after lead conversion
- Work towards daily/weekly call and appointment targets
- Prepare quotations and sales proposals based on shipping needs (sea/air/land freight, forwarding, customs clearance)Continuously research and generate new lead databases (via online sources or referrals)
