Key Milestones
Our commitment to ESG is demonstrated through a structured and evolving roadmap. Since 2018, FM Global Logistics has taken progressive steps to enhance sustainability, including the publication of sustainability statements, materiality assessments, and adherence to international standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Index (F4GBM).

Beginning our ESG journey by applying ESG practices throughout our operations
2018
Established a formal sustainability governance structure, published our inaugural Sustainability Statement, and conducted the first Materiality Assessment Survey.
2019
Implemented ESG initiatives in key operations and adopted the GRI reporting format.
2020
Implemented a sustainability roadmap, set ESG KPIs, and aligned disclosures with GRI, F4GBM, and UNSDGs.

2021
Reviewed reporting scope to include Energy Management and pandemic mitigation efforts; expanded ESG alignment to broader UNSDG goals.
2022
Compiled Scope 1 & 2 emissions for our Central Business Hub, and laid groundwork for TCFD-aligned reporting.
2023
Inducted as a constituent of the F4GBM Index and expanded climate-focused sustainability initiatives.

2024
Enhanced GRI Content Index, achieved third-party ESG assurance, and secured F4GBM inclusion. Developed our ESG slogan: Sustainability — Our Way of Life.
2025
Expanded GHG emissions tracking to Scope 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9; embedded ESG in investment analysis and supported impactful internal and external campaigns.
2026

Digitalize ESG data into actionable insights, adopt IFRS S1 & S2, invest in MRV systems, and build a youth-led ESG culture — all while targeting low carbon emissions by 2030.

ESG: Matters
Event 2025
FM Global Logistics recently held its landmark ESG: Matters event, themed Sustainability Our Way of Life. This event fostered strategic collaborations with industry leaders Scania, Solarvest Malaysia, and JAC Motors to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote clean energy.
